The Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate Fine Edge Knife 31-001063 has a full fine edged drop point blade. It is constructed of high carbon stainless steel for superior edge retention. The blade is housed in a textured rubber handle that is ergonomically designed to control slippage while providing a comfortable gripping surface. The base of the handle has an integrated stainless steel pommel and an emergency whistle has been installed in the lanyard. The sheath of the Ultimate Fine Edge Knife is loaded with useful features. A diamond knife sharpener aids you in keeping your knife at peak performance. No more searching through gear for the sharpener. A fire starter rod is located on the front of the sheath to be used with the striker notch on the back of the knife blade.
