The Gerber EVO knife model 22-01443 has a 440A stainless steel fine edge blade. The handle is made of anodized aluminum with seven oval cutout holes. When opened the Gerber EVO looks a bit like a dagger because of its straight, seamless-looking spine. The knife can be opened using either the ambidextrous thumbstuds or the finger flip on the back of the handle. The blade is coated in titanium nitrade to give it the black color and add corrosion resistance. A pocket clip is included for easy carrying.
