Designed by Rick Hinderer, the Gerber Firestorm 22-07174 is heavy duty. It has a high carbon stainless steel serrated tanto blade that is 3.44 inches long. Dual thumb studs and a blade extension allow for single handed opening with either hand. All components of this knife are enlarged so that they are easily accessed even when wearing thick gloves. The handle is stainless steel mated with polycarbonate that has been textured for added grip.
