The Gerber Obsidian functions primarily as a knife, but it has a little bit of multitool in its build. This Gerber 22-01022 model features a 440A stainless steel partially serrated blade that is held open or closed with a safety in the handle. There is a plunge lock in the handle that closes the knife. Folded into the end of the handle are several tools including philips and flathead screwdrivers, a file, and a bottle opener.
