The Gerber Freescape Hatchet 31-002536 was formerly the Gerber Camp Axe II 31-000914 and 45905. This new Gerber Axe comes with a few upgrades like a bright green handle and a bright green blade guard. These new accents make the axe easier to find in low-light condtions. Aside from that you can find this axe to service you just as good as the Gerber Camp Axe II with handling chores around the campside like chopping wood, kindling wood, and pounding tent stakes. The Blade is coated with PTFE and cuttting edge measures 3.1inches. Overall length is 17.5 inches. Weight is 34.6 ounces. Handle has a secure grip. Made in Finland.
