This is the Gerber Processor take-apart shears model 31-003276. So I know you've all had a pair of take-apart shears, but this is new and improved, featuring great ergonomic control. The way that your hand can just fit snug in here and feel comfortable is just going to give you such ease while you're doing your hard work. I think you'll find this upgrade that Gerber has done over some of their other take-apart shears is really incredible. It is an all-in-one every tool needed from lip to tail. The blade here is made of 3Cr13 and the handle is a glass-reinforced nylon with flat sage and black colors. When closed, it comes with this nice little sheath and fits right in there snug as a bug, keeping the sharps away from anybody who might not need to get their hands on it. You have the gut hook option, so if you need to pull and start doing your work there, you have it. There is a built-in scaler that goes throughout the whole way, cutting shears, and a fin clipper. These little grooves here are really going to help get the fins on those fish. There is a fine-edge knife cutting blade on the bottom, which is why it says caution sharp edge. In a closed position, you have a full fine-edge knife on the bottom of your scissors. That is just great for clipping around or going through something. With what Gerber is calling the bare hand comfortable grip, it is not going to get better than this ergonomic handle. The handle has a lanyard hole and features HydroTread grips engineered for traction with raised sections that channel moisture away for a secure grip. For optimized control, they have put in a nice large finger opening, an angled shape, and optimized space between handles for maximum force. This is the Processor model 31-003276.
