This is the Gerber River shorty model 30 - 0 0 0 9 6 7. So the river shorty is great hit with any divers, aquatics, Marines, Coast Guard, anyone who is dealing with wet products and needing a blunt tip. This is excellent material for water. You got a sturdy stainless steel blade, lightweight glass filled nylon handle, and this deliberate but blunt tip which means, you know, it's not gonna go poking your inflatables, so that's handy. And also important feature on this blade is that you have a full edge serrated blade or edge right here, full serrated the whole way. So some nice jimping here for when you are cutting through the ropes or whatever you might need to get through. Nice place, McPhee, little finger groove here again, nice holds to keep, to keep your hands in place, secure grip during use. That blade is three inches, overall is six point seven five inches. The blade is made with 420hc and again it is made in the USA, which you'll see here on the back of the knife—made in the USA, Portland, Oregon. Now this is a tough molded sheath; this is why they love this is that can, it can be attached easily to your personal flotation device, your pack, backpack, belt. Easily slip a belt through there, but just kind of pull that up and down, that's gonna slide over anything. Also for waterproof excursions, when you do have anything water, you've got the hole—if you can see that through all the way—that's gonna let the water just flow and escape out of there so it won't keep it next to your blade.
