This is the Gerber A-Fect II, model 30-001025 and also same model number as 31-002782. Gerber has just changed their boxes and numbers over time but same thing, A-Fect II. There was also the A-Fect I but this A-Fect weapons maintenance tool was created for the distinct purpose of cleaning and maintaining the AR-15, the M16, M4 variant firearms. So they worked a lot with the US military to get these exact specifications down for these tools. So again you or anybody that cleans these guns knows exactly what these things are more than me. Open lengths when they're opened up all the way from side to side 5.7. It weighs 5.4 ounces with the sheath. You do get the Coyote brown MOLLE compatible nylon sheath. It's going to come here with the M249 carbon scraper, the M4/M16 bolt scraper, a detachable dental style carbon pick, a flathead screwdriver, a takedown pin punch. So this is built in USA with global materials and as you want to use each one, again just pull it out to the one that you want to use, close it down when you're done. The one that you have out all the way does lock into place so again just push down to get it there. Can't locked in police, push it down to give it close. Nice and compact, fits great into the sheath, Velcro and it is a snap. So not only can it filter your belt loop but you can also detach this snap here and then go to backpack, foot strap, arm strap, wherever you would like your A-Fect tool to sit on your gear and you'll be ready to go.
