This is the Gerber Freescape Camp Saw. This is model 31-zero zero two eight two zero. So, this is a very new, innovative design. It allows for easy blade exchange and easy fold up. With its four-point pivot design, it's going to maximize your cutting performance and make this really easy to unfold and fold for easy carry. So right now, I have it in the open position for cutting, and it's locked down in here and pretty much just going to turn it into a handle and be ready to get into your project. So you'll hear it. See here the nice green and black soft over-molds on the handle here? It really gives it a nice grip with this texture, and the nice lime-green color is going to help you be able to see this. Now, your blade here—this is a standard 12-inch blade. It can cut wood up to 4.25 inches. And it's an exchangeable blade, meaning if it goes dull, you can easily exchange that blade with any other 12-inch sub-blade. So it's a universal; it does not have to be Gerber. But of course, we wouldn't want you to be that way; you're getting the best quality. So look at those sharp teeth. Okay, so I'm going to try to show y'all how to fold it into its thing. I think probably as you get more used to it—and then if you're not trying to handle it under a camera—it might be easier. But again, it's going to be pulling the handle out. Okay, then you saw this released here? So this is gonna kind of go into the handle there. It's kind of a little jigsaw puzzle. And of course, you got to be careful not to cut yourself on this blade, but the blade is going to fold back into there and you're gonna come around. Now this pivot thing—the hook—does need to kind of get pivoted inside to your handle, and then as you close it, you hear a nice snap. So this is it in its nice carry folding-out position. Okay, now to pull it out back into work position: pull, slowly pull this blade out, and then the blade has to come full circle around. Okay, now you must get this black handle to come out and get into your saw blade. So again, just kind of the right length to get those two together. Hook that in, okay, and then now pull with the force of your handle, and this is what's going to lock it into place. Okay, and then from there you're going to be ready to get to work. Okay, so it is nifty. And I think the more, again, that you use it, you're going to get more comfortable with it. You know, I've learned it just for a few minutes to get this video together, but I think you men, again, would have stronger hands and can be able to flip that around very much easier than me. So this is the Gerber Freescape model 31-0 0-8-1.
