This is the Gerber Gator Premium Fixed Blade, model 30-001082. So the Gator is you've probably well known this series. They come in folding and in fixed, they come in plain edge with the gut hook so depending on exactly what you're looking for, Gerber has it. When you see premium at the end of the Gator, this one has the finer materials and it comes with the leather sheath. So this fixed blade fits great, this is a snap-on, fits great into the sheath here and then you have a belt loop. This black sheath has been made in the USA so very nice. Now here you have the gut hook. The gut hook, oh this is a full tang. Nice finger guards, finger grooves, jimping, just has a nice really nice feel to it. This blade is made of the CPM-S30V steel. That blade length is four inches, overall we're at nine inches. The knife itself weighs eight ounces, with the sheath together they weigh 10.4 ounces. So this handle here is made with glass-filled nylon with rubber overmold, so that helps to really just give it a soft feel while you're using it but also a secure grip. Does have on the back made in the USA, so proudly made in Portland, Oregon. The Gators have been around for a long time so I know many of you know this name. Gut hook, rubberized Gator grip, this is a polished cast steel bolster with the lanyard hole here in in the center.
