This is the Gerber Sharkbelly, model 30-001410. The Sharkbelly has gotten its name for these ridges, this gray color, and these ridges here on the handles, making this unique. And of course Gerber has got that to be a modern textured shark skin grip they're calling it now. So again, it got its name Sharkbelly. This is a modern sheepsfoot blade with flat top, serrations front and back. A scratch resistant pocket clip, this kind of sleek, more urban style pocket clip gives this Sharkbelly a real modernized look. The blade itself is 3.25 inches. Overall we're at 7.75 inches, weighing 2.3 ounces. This blade is made of 420HC steel, a modern drop point and the handle is glass filled nylon. Does have the lanyard hole, thumb hole. So I think you'd be well pleased with the Sharkbelly. It's got the lock back mechanism so you just push down, close it into the handle. Use the large finger opening to open that up, lock it into place and you're ready to go. So the Sharkbelly also does come in fine edge too if you don't want the serrations but this one is model 30-001410.
