The Gerber Highbrow model 30-001524 knife comes in a black onyx color. The black drop point blade is made of 7Cr steel and is connected to a smooth assisted opening system. The assited opening is activated using the flipper on the back of the knife. The blade locks up solid with a pivot lock system. What makes this pivot lock so easy to use is its ambidextrous design, meaning that the pivot lock can be accessed from both sides of the knife. Additionally the pocket clip can be set for left handed or right handed carry.
