This is the Gerber mini covert model 30-001395. Now this is an automatic in tactical gray with a stonewashed blade on the finish there, fine edge. They have made this mini covert in this tan color or gray, ours are in the gray color and also in the tan. So if you like a tan color better, just look for a different model but the mini covert is well known. The co-gertz have been around for a while, the coverts are a little bigger, the mini covert is the smaller size. So this is a smaller, yet you're just still getting all the great things of your covert. Nice fine edge, made of the S30V steel, made in the USA, signed there by the two designers Rex Applegate and W.E. Fairbain. The handle is an aluminum handle, it's a very nice lightweight and strong and that is made with the Type 3 anodized 6061 aluminum. This plays only 2.1 ounces. The blade is 2.8 inches, the handle is six and a half inches, I'm sorry, overall, overall it's six and a half and the handle is 3.8. So perfectly balanced between the blade and the handle here. Now let's get to the automatic, I know you'll love this feature. So again, you have your locking system which is either gonna lock it down into this open position. Also once you close it, lock it down into the closed position, that way this is not going anywhere when this is in your pocket. Take nice black pocket clip on the back, lanyard hole, but when you are ready to open this baby, just unlock, hit this easy button for rapid deployment. So on here this is actually called a false spear head, a false edge spear point blade. So super sharp, I mean that is nice. So I think you'll definitely love the covert.
