The Gerber Ripstop I 22-01614B knife has an all stainless steel construction. Even though the knife is 5.75 inches long when opened, it has been lightened to a mere 2 ounces thanks to all of the attractive airframe design in the handle. The blade lock uses the frame of the handle itself to further insure that no extra weight or unnecessary components are part of the knife.
