The Gerber Tempo Microlight Flashlight 22-80107 uses only 1 AAA flashlights, puts out 6 lumens of light, and lasts 4 hours. Gerber specifies the useable beam distance at 13 meters (about 43 feet). The body of the Gerber Tempo is all anodized aluminum that is light-weight and will give you years of use because of its durability. The tailcap of the flashlight is where the AAA battery is loaded and also where the on/off feature of the light is. Simply turn the tailcap clockwise a quarter-turn to turn the light on, and turn the tailcap counter-clockwise a quarter-turn to turn the light off.
